Most video that fails on social fails for the same three reasons. It opens on a title card instead of the payoff, it assumes audio, and it holds shots at a length that reads as dead air on a phone. Landscape footage reframed to vertical compounds all three, because the composition was never built for the crop.

Each edit opens on its strongest frame, not its beginning. Cuts are timed against the beat rather than the sentence, so the rhythm carries a viewer who is not yet listening. Captions are treated as design rather than accessibility afterthought: legible at thumb distance, keyed to the delivery, and written to carry the whole message with the sound off. Grading and motion stay consistent across a set so a feed reads as one hand.
